The Year of the Pig
2019 marks the Year of the Pig, occupying the twelfth and final position in the Chinese zodiac.
The Year of the Pig encourages restoration and reflection before the Chinese zodiac cycle begins again with the Year of the Rat in 2020. More reasonable and rational, the Earth Pig allows people to make their projects a reality through hard work and determination.
Yauatcha is celebrating the Year of the Pig with an installation created by Isobel and Helen based on an illustration drawn by artist Quentin Monge, bringing the Pig to life in the restaurant.
Paying homage to festivities, Yauatcha is offering an exclusive Chinese New Year signature menu available from 28th January until 24th February showcasing auspicious ingredients priced at 60 GBP per person for a minimum of two.
In celebration of the new Lunar Year, Yauatcha Soho will be hosting an auspicious lion dance at 4pm on Sunday 10th February.
