Yauatcha 10

A MONTH OF CELEBRATIONS MARKING 10 YEARS OF YAUATCHA IN LONDON

Throughout September 2014, Michelin-starred dim sum teahouse Yauatcha, located in the heart of Soho, marked its 10th birthday with a series of celebrations centred around four of its iconic offerings – the Chinese kitchen, teahouse, patisserie and Champagne/cocktails. Each week, the iconic London restaurant offered secret off-item menus, 10 new macaron flavours for £10 and gave guests a glimpse into the world of Yauatcha.

Yauatcha focused on the defining elements of its experience:

1ST – 7TH SEPTEMBER
Celebrating Yauatcha’s iconic Chinese Kitchen with Executive Head Chef Tong Chee Hwee.

8TH – 14TH SEPTEMBER
Celebrating Yauatcha’s iconic teahouse with Bar Manager Eder Neto.

15TH – 21ST SEPTEMBER
Celebrating Yauatcha’s iconic patisserie with Executive Pastry Chef Graham Hornigold.

22ND – 30TH SEPTEMBER
Celebrating Yauatcha’s iconic Champagne, wine and cocktails with Head Wine Buyer Christine Parkinson.

 

To honour this significant milestone guests shared their favourite stories and moments from Yauatcha’s 10-year history. They Tweeted, Facebooked and Instagrammed their experiences using #yauatcha10, and the best stories from each day were rewarded with a box of limited-edition macarons and a signature cocktail. Posts were streamed on the Yauatcha10 microsite.
